Job Description:

The Customer Service Coordinator – Supply Chain provides comprehensive support across all Supply Chain departments and serves as the primary point of contact for supply chain-related issues, urgent needs, coordination efforts, and general inquiries. This role is based at the Main Campus and plays a critical part in ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff the Main Campus customer service desk
  • Answer incoming calls and process supply orders
  • Manage all external shipments and provide pricing information
  • Coordinate and monitor external courier activities, including task assignment and direction
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve supply-related issues
  • Track and triage issues to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution
  • Identify and communicate recurring issues to support systemic improvements
  • Perform administrative functions to support efficient supply chain operations
  • Direct staff to address immediate or emergent needs as required

Education:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent business experience required.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience preferred
  • Prior experience in an office environment demonstrating advanced administrative support skills
  • Familiarity with inventory management and basic purchasing (buyer) functions
  • Proficiency with UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, Premier Connect, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and editing
  • Basic math competency
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage frequent interruptions
  • Customer service orientation with effective listening and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications
  • Keyboarding speed of 50+ WPM
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment (fax machines, calculators, copiers)
