Job Summary: 

The Intern- Customer Supply Chain Projects will partner with Customers, Sales, Customer Experience, Product Management, Demand Planning, Operations, and Supply Chain to manage several strategic Customer Supply Chain projects to drive growth and cost-effectiveness for the overall business. This position will also help support our Supply Chain Programs planning team by supporting our processes to plan and manage incremental demand.

 

Primary Duties: 

  • Lead management and execution of strategic customer supply chain projects that drive revenue growth and cost-effectiveness for the business. Collaborates with Customer Experience, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations to generate project pipeline and success metrics
    • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) critical to measuring the health of project performance, business outcome, and strategic synergies
  • Troubleshoot Supply Chain problems and work to solve issues cross-functionally in support of customer needs
  • Analyze large amounts of data and make recommendations based on facts to senior leadership and customers 
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to deploy end-to-end supply chain strategies to optimize pipeline inventory investments and achieve customer serviceability requirements (95%) for unplanned/incremental demand
  • Collaborates with Customers, Sales, Customer Experience, Product Management, Demand Planning, Operations, and Supply Chain to develop program order rollout strategies and inventory investment strategies that best align with customer expectations.
  • Drives alignment internally with Sales, Finance, Business Insights, Category Management, and Demand Planning on revenue plans associated with annual customer program orders.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated competency with cross-functional engagement and collaboration
  • Ability to influence others and drive cross-functional alignment using data
  • Strong written and oral communication skills - including presentation skills
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient computer skills – particularly Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven experience with ERP/MRP – SAP preferred
  • Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds.
  • Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. The noise level is usually moderate.

 

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a concentration in one or more of the following:
    • Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial)
    • Management (Supply Chain, Operations)
    • Business experience
