Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are seeking a Program Acquisitions Manager to join our Defense Logistics Agency team.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

Experience

  • Five (5) years of experience in program management for Acquisition Category (ACAT) programs and non-ACAT programs.
  • Experience with the Information Technology Acquisition lifecycle process and acquisition milestones.
  • Experience in managing, reviewing, and analyzing a variety of source and acquisition documentation

 

Clearance

  • Secret - IT-II Non-Critical security clearance, Tier 3 investigation. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead contractor Information Technology (IT) Acquisition process team to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide knowledge of Information Technology Acquisition lifecycle process and management of milestones.
  • Manage acquisition and meeting scheduled milestones.
  • Manage and track the collection, input and processing on information and data received from customers and technical contacts.
  • Identify discrepancies, risk and available resources with government program manager.
  • Collaborate on process improvements and completion with government program manager to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of information transmitted for review.
