What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an Program Coordinator to help advance the mission of the Baylor Center for Mental Health by providing direct support to its leadership, affiliated faculty, and students. Our Center promotes the flourishing of individuals with mental health, their families, and communities through compelling research, training, leadership, outreach, and clinical services. This person will provide administrative support to research and community outreach projects falling within the scope of the Baylor University's Mental Health initiative. Half of this role will focus on supporting the activities of a new interdisciplinary initiative focused on Mental Health and faith. The other half will focus on supporting the activities of a growing portfolio of Mental Health-related projects.
A Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant work experience is required. A Master's Degree and 5 years of relevant work experience is preferred.

What You Will Do
Program Planning and Development
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs or projects.
- Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to align the program’s goals with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate resources and scheduling for program activities.
- Manage inquiries and correspondence related to the Mental Health initiative.
- Coordinate internal and external communications to support program success.
- Interface with students, faculty, collaborators, and visitors.
- Create reports and other informational documents as needed.
Event Coordination
- Organize and manage events, workshops, or meetings related to the program (e.g., in-person, Teams, Zoom).
- Schedule visits and meetings (in-person and digital) between department leaders and partners.
- Coordinate registration for Mental Health initiative events.
- Assist with participant and partner recruitment. Coordinate contracts for Program collaborators.
- Secure locations, arrange logistics, and handle attendee registration, reservations for classrooms and equipment for program activities.
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate records of Mental Health program activities, events, and communications.
- Maintain office and supply needs and submit work orders.
- Support planning, development, and growth of University Mental Health programs.
- Maintain record management systems and information databases related to the program.
- Contribute to weekly team meetings.
- Process payments, requisitions, and manage budgets for the program.
- Ensure that office supplies and equipment are available and well-maintained.
- Handle correspondence, inquiries, and other day-to-day administrative tasks.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain databases or record management systems related to the program.
- Compile reports and analyze data to assess program effectiveness.
- Provide input into program evaluation and make recommendations for improvements.
Financial Management
- Track program expenses and ensure financial resources are used appropriately.
- Manage purchase orders, payments, and ensure budgets are adhered to.
- Provide financial administrator with payments requests, including invoices and quotes, and online supply orders.
Other
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
