Job Description

AECOM has a position available for an Architectural Designer III to join our Buildings + Places team in Tampa, FL.  This is a hybrid work-model and may be require office presence 2-3 days/week.

The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:

• Performing basic architectural calculations, studies, research, and tasks
• Preparing specifications, reports and related project information
• Researching and preparing material and application studies
• Preparing presentations and design related material
• Maintaining liaison with design team members and groups
• Preparing, reviewing, and coordinating drawings as required
• Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform design and technical assignments of moderate complexity
• May coordinate technical and administrative activities with team members and with other disciplines assigned to project
• May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Previous professional experience as an Architectural Designer
• Demonstrated experience using one or more of the following: Autodesk Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or similar, for graphics and presentations 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Architecture or Masters Degree in Architecture is preferred
• 6+ years of relevant experience is preferred
• Autodesk Revit certification is helpful
• Experience using one or more of the following is helpful: Bluebeam, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Lumion, Rhino, Autodesk Navisworks, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Preparing for or in process of gaining License is helpful

Offered rate of compensation in (Florida locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000.
