Director Solution Consulting

Overview

ID.me simplifies how individuals prove and share their identity online. The ID.me secure digital identity network has over 114 million members with over 90,000 individuals joining daily, as well as partnerships with over 30 states, multiple federal agencies, and over 500 name-brand retailers.  We are just getting started.

The Solution Consulting team brings ID.me to life.  We understand our customers’ unique challenges and how our amazing technology can address them.  We sell our vision by delivering compelling demos and presentations.  We help our customers configure ID.me and support their launch on our identity network.  We are a key part of a dynamic sales team.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who will manage a team of Solution Consultants and Solution Consulting Managers to higher levels of performance.  The Director will hire, coach, and develop Solution Consultants and Solution Consultant Managers who deliver results.  The Director will model solution selling skills during complex technical sales pursuits, demonstrate subject matter expertise, and motivate a team to drive the business.  

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, and develop a Solution Consulting team supporting the customer journey.
• Partner with HR to recruit, develop, and retain top-tier talent.
• Serve as product expert during the presales solutioning phase.
• Develop and maintain relationships with technical representative(s) at partner.
• Position product differentiators to prospect during discovery, proposal, and demo phases
• Supervise work and provide feedback to iterate and improve continuously.
• Identify, develop, and promote best practices that drive outcomes and scale.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and support teams to ensure we constantly deliver value to our customers.
• Partner with Sales Leadership to own and drive ID.me business goals.
• Participate in active sales cycles and model effective behaviors such as discovery, positioning, objection handling, presenting, demoing.
• Participate in strategic meetings such as sales planning and customer QBRs.

 

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in Solution Engineering in high-growth companies.  
• 4+ years of experience leading Solution Engineering teams.
• Boundless energy.  Inspirational passion.  Strong sense of ownership. 
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
• BS/BA degree strongly preferred
