Summary: The Senior Manager, People Shared Services will lead transform and build to a central people shared services operating model. It will oversee management of various HR activities including associates’ data management, HR inquiries, documenting HR processes while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The senior manager will also work to implement key process and operational improvements necessary to increase efficiency and scale within the operation. All of this will be completed on a local and global level. This role will be reporting to the Director of HR Technology and HR Shared Services. This person is not afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed and will ensure our systems and procedures work in direct support of Acushnet’s policies and standards. Additionally, this role will manage a group of dedicated HR specialists and coordinators who deliver best in class service to our associates.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of a high performing people shared services function that drives results through a simple, easy to understand that makes HR adaptable and efficient.
- Define and implement a tiered approach to appropriately support the business on day-to-day questions from associates in addition to an escalation process.
- Drive operational performance and service excellence within the people shared service team and monitor performance of the team members performing those activities against defined performance/quality standards.
- Demonstrate ability to drive ongoing improvements through standardizing, automating, and consolidating processes in support of HR strategy goals.
- Identify problem areas in service delivery processes, troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions.
- Lead day-to-day operational activities to ensure customer service levels are met in a dynamic and continuously changing environment.
- Proactively partner with HR COEs and HRBPs to solution and improve procedures and workflows across systems with short-term and long-term strategies while creating a scalable service offering to enhance the associate experience.
- Create process controls, quality monitoring mechanisms, and standard audits that ensure the shared service center is compliant with HIPAA guidelines (local country specific guidelines at the international level) as related to handling Private Healthcare Information (PHI) and Private Identification Information (PII) Compliance and legally compliant to all state and national regulations.
- Champion collaborative cross functional relationships with other operational teams, such as Payroll, IT, Legal, and Facilities to ensure successful execution of HR processes.
- Inspire the Operations team to deliver streamlined employee and manager experiences to enable HR Business Partners to fulfill their designated strategic roles.
- Create and manage customer-facing reporting for EEC customers to be provided on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree in Business Administration or related field strongly preferred. In lieu of a college degree, 7 years directly related experience required. PHR or SPHR Certification is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in human resources/human resources operations including HRMS (human resources management system), ATS (Applicant Tracking System), compensation, organizational planning, benefits administration, compliance, recruiting, employee life cycle and the rollout of human resources operational programs.
