The Human Resource Generalist will oversee HR policies, including compliance, employee relations, performance management, HR communication, and engagement activities.
Requirements
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and update company-wide HR policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with legal requirements.
- Respond to HR inquiries and provide support to associates on various HR-related topics.
- Coordinate unemployment claims.
- Facilitate compliance with all federal and state employment laws.
- Process associate complaints and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.
- Develop talent management processes and lead performance management process for the company.
- Manage employee development plans and identify potential employee-relations issues.
- Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Serve as the focal point to organize and implement all Allied social activities.
- Stay current with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Create and develop HR communication deliverables.
- Coordinate Allied Machine’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
- Lead summer student program.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
- Advanced analytical and decision-making skills.
- Advanced understanding of HR laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor degree in business administration, human resources, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a human resources role preferred.
- Experience in a leadership role preferred.
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 32 pounds unassisted.
