Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity for a Government & Capital Property Manager (Level K) to join our Property Management team. The position can be located in one of the following locations: Atlanta, GA, San Antonio, TX, Long Beach, CA, Mesa, AZ, Dallas, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, Jacksonville, Florida; Hazelwood MO; and Fort Walton Beach, FL.

This position has the responsibility for the effective and compliant management of a subset of the Business Systems for Property Management in Boeing Global Services. The position also has responsibility for developing, implementing, and replicating streamlined processes and enhanced utilization of automated improvements to gain efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to create and maintain partnerships with customers and stakeholders within Property Management. The successful applicant will be primarily focused on insuring Property Management compliance at multiple Boeing sites to include BGS Field Operations sites.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees who develop, coordinate and implement property management strategies and control activities

  • Develops, coaches, mentors and motivates employees

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Communicates with internal and external auditors directly

  • Works collaboratively with Materials Management/Property Management site Senior Leaders

  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of teams and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains business relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, Business Unit counterparts, partners, auditors and direct reports as well as monitor metrics and self-assessment results to ensure continuous compliance

  • Works with Government (i.e. DCMA, DCAA, NASA, etc.) property administrators to address issues in a timely manner and escalates when required to ensure results

  • Promotes and demonstrates the Boeing Behaviors

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 5 years of experience managing Government or Capital Property

  • More than 3 years of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions

  • More than 1 year of experience leading project teams to meet project objectives and deliverables

  • More than 3 years of experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DMCA) and Department of Defense (DOD) contracts related to Government Property

  • More than 5 years of experience and/or training on Government Property FAR and DFARS compliance

  • More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management

  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

  • Position may require travel up to 40% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree or higher

  • Effective team building skills to develop and motivate employees

  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certification

  • Experience with GOLD Property Management Systems
