We’re looking for a motivated Supervisor to lead our production team. In this role, you'll oversee manufacturing activities, manage schedules, and ensure a safe and productive work environment. As a Supervisor, you'll lead this team to not only ensure efficient operations but also foster a motivated workforce that contributes significantly to the company's overall success.
What You’ll Do at Justrite:
- Communicate with specific directions and procedures to follow in carrying out assigned tasks.
- Monitor team members on site during production activities to ensure compliance with the standards of operations, ethic and safety procedures.
- Must be skilled and experienced in the department to guide the team to ensure production efficiency and quality.
- Recognize the contributions of every team member and encourages them to work together in harmony, sharing ideas and maintaining good relationships in the execution of production tasks.
- Ensure completed product meets quality standards before moving to the next area.
- Manage the production schedule and coordinating the processing of orders as efficiently as possible to get the work processed through the facility.
- Ensure operational quality and cost objectives while meeting on-time delivery schedule.
- Ensure all workers have proper safety gear and clothing before performing work.
- Interview and assist with selecting new hires.
- Ability to fill in on a job when employee is absence.
Your Skills and Expertise:
To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:
- Computer knowledge including Microsoft suite, especially for production data analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
- Relevant training and certification in industrial production, engineering technology, or any related field
- 5+ years manufacturing experience with a minimum 3 years supervisory/management role.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Manage workforce size, hours, attendance and time off to meet production schedule
- Diligently follow safe work practices for yourself and team members at all times
- Ability to create and adhere to production processes
- Ability to write reports legibly and accurately
