Location – US, Remote + Onsite at Relevant In-Person Events

Roles and Responsibilities
Position Purpose
The Director of Field and Customer/Partner Marketing is responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and return on investment of trade shows, conferences, webinars, virtual events, and local field events, as well as driving our customer and partner marketing initiatives including but not limited to partner and customer conferences. You'll work very closely with Demand Generation, Inside Sales (SDRs), Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Partner Alliances Marketing teams. Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, this position will ensure that SirionLabs is successfully presented and well positioned in our industry’s best-in-class events. This position will hire and manage a team of field and partner marketing managers.
To fulfill this role you have exceptional leadership, communication, excellent organization and project management skills and validated experience executing event marketing strategies. You will be a key leader in the marketing organization, lead and mentor a team of highly driven individuals and collaborate within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with regional sales, alliances and customer leaders to plan marketing activities for sales, partners and customers
- Create and manage the budget for events and showcase ROI for pipeline generated from these activities
- Research, analyze and identify conferences, ABM meetings, dinner, etc and negotiate with vendors to create the annual events plan across multiple regions
- Collaborate with the global sales organization to understand and address the specific needs of each regional market and develop localized marketing programs to support sales efforts.
- Partner with Customer Success team and Product Management to plan and execute 2 CAB events annually across US and Europe in conjunction with Sirion Engage customer conferences in these regions
- Collaborate with Alliances and Technology partners teams to support partner conferences in tech ecosystems like Salesforce, AWS, Microsoft etc. Manage a partner marketing manager to support the successful execution of these events
- Define strategy for each tradeshow and event, including pre-, during-, and post-event activities that maximize the return on investment
- Ensure all field marketing efforts are aligned with the company's overall brand, mission, and values
- Hire and manage Field Marketing managers in regions
Technical Competencies
- 9 - 11 years’ Field Marketing experience, preferably with B2B shows/conferences, partner conferences, CAB and user conferences
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful field, partner and customer marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue growth
- Must have experience hiring managing and mentoring teams
- Demonstrated ability to be poised and effective during high-pressure situations; ability to anticipate issues and have (or quickly develop) contingency plans
- Proficient working in Salesforce, Hubspot, 6Sense
- Travel: At least 1-2 events per quarter, must be willing to travel internationally
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Business or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling messaging and stories that resonate with different audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate effectively with teams across the organization
