You’ll partner closely with <strong>Engineering</strong>, <strong>Curriculum</strong>, and <strong>Design</strong> to identify opportunities at the intersection of pedagogy and technology, bringing forward ambitious ideas and turning them into high-impact solutions.</p> <p>As <strong>Product Manager</strong>, you will be responsible for shaping the roadmap of a cross-functional team focused on highly complex, technically challenging initiatives. These include building the platforms, tools, and infrastructure that enable new kinds of content, richer interactivity, and cutting-edge learner experiences. Your role is to bring clarity and focus, balancing experimentation with execution, and ensuring that our innovation efforts translate into real learner and business value.</p> <p>You will also play a key role in ensuring technical initiatives are aligned with curriculum goals, managing complexity with a pragmatic approach, and maintaining a strong understanding of how underlying systems work to make informed trade-offs.</p> <p><strong>About you</strong></p> <p>At DataCamp, we value action, ownership, transparency, and a deep focus on learners. You’re someone who:</p> <ul> <li>Has a strong technical background. </li> <li>Is passionate about data education and wants to shape how the next generation of data scientists and data engineers learn.</li> <li>Stays current with the latest trends, tools, and technologies. </li> <li>Thrives in fast-paced environments. </li> <li>Communicates clearly and can make complex ideas easy to understand. </li> <li>Takes ownership and brings structure to ambiguity.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap</li> <li>Partner with Engineering and Curriculum to identify impactful opportunities, trade-offs, and delivery plans</li> <li>Translate complex ideas into clear priorities and product requirements</li> <li>Balance innovation, user needs, and business goals against technical feasibility</li> <li>Set goals and success metrics to guide and measure outcomes</li> <li>Foster a culture of experimentation and data-informed decisions</li> <li>Ensure strong communication and alignment with stakeholders</li> <li>Explore and apply emerging technologies, especially AI, in concrete, learner-focused ways</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years in product management with strong autonomy, including 3+ years of consumer products</li> <li>Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand system architecture, APIs, and data flows, and to engage in trade-off discussions with engineers</li> <li>Track record delivering high-quality products with meaningful business impact</li> <li>Pragmatic, value-oriented mindset with the ability to balance trade-offs and make sound decisions</li> <li>Analytical problem-solver who uses data to prioritize and measure impact</li> <li>Ability to align teams and stakeholders around a shared vision and roadmap</li> <li>Familiarity with data science, AI, or edtech is a plus</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Datacamp? </strong></p> <p>Joining DataCamp means becoming part of a dynamic, creative, and international start-up.
