Senior Java Software Developer

Work you’ll do 

• Engage in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize Jira for project tracking.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Ensure applications comply with Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) requirements.
• Develop RESTful Web Services and integrate them with various systems.
• Utilize Docker Containers for application deployment and management.
• Apply Agile methodologies and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.

The Application Modernization and Innovation offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large-scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) & other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Application Modernization and Innovation offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business. We provide operational value, modernized mission solutions, and enhanced technology innovation.

Qualifications 

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
• Ability to travel 10-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• 10 + Years of experience in Software Engineering. 
• 5 + Years of experience utilizing and developing Java, Spring Boot, VUE.JS, and Restful API.
• 1 + Years of experience with Docker, Jenkins, JIRA, and BitBucket. 

Preferred: 

• Relevant certifications in Java, DevOps, Agile methodologies, or related fields.
• Previous experience working in Federal Contracting. 
• Previous experience adhering to IAVM requirements.
