Job Description

The Business Operations Associate is responsible for developing and implementing processes and tools to support the advertising sales organization. This role will work closely with the Sales teams, Ad Ops, Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Finance teams to identify and address process gaps, automate repetitive tasks, and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ad sales processes and systems, as well as experience with building processes and automation tools from the ground up.

  • Structure, develop, and implement the ecosystem of tools and new processes that will support the ad sales org
  • Lead end to end development of CRM and tools
  • Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency
  • Create businesses cases with cross-functional buy-in on key processes and tools
  • Identify and develop relationships with cross-functional colleagues in order to gather requirements and feedback.  Stakeholders include Sales teams, Ad Ops, Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Finance teams
  • Train and support users on new processes and tools
  • Provide feedback and support product launches

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of proven experience
  • 3+ years of experience in process improvement or automation
  • Strong understanding of advertising sales processes and systems
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem 
  • Experience with Salesforce, Air Table, Tableau, Google Sheets, CRM tools, etc
  • The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, influence, and change management skills in order to develop strong relationships, get buy-in for tool development, and gain adoption of tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, curious individual who is full of grit and loves to find solutions to problems, rather than avoiding them
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, competitive individual with the ability to work fast & smart

Additional Information

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $152,100 - USD $185,900
Zone B: USD $141,500 - USD $172,900
Zone C: USD $133,800 - USD $163,600
Zone D: USD $121,700 - USD $148,700
