The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

RTX has an opening for a Sr. Manager, SAP Security Administrator (Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Transformation).  Individual Contributor Role.  Remote Opportunity.

Responsible for analyzing and translating business information and technical requirements into an architectural design that outlines solutions to achieve complex business objectives:

  • Interact with internal business/technology groups to ensure Security Requirements are met for any customer facing products/services/platform.
  • Provide guidance to business and development groups to ensure appropriate security best practices is designed into all products.
  • Foster better security posture closely aligned with security policies and standards.
  • Facilitate and encourage integration with security processes and automation.
  • Review designs to find deficiencies in security.
  • Advise and educate development groups on best practices and why it is necessary.

This position will also have dotted line of responsibilities with multiple managers/teams within Information Security and will coordinate within IT to ensure projects and programs are designed and solution with security principles included.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security architecture for SAP systems.
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations on SAP security best practices, assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Design and implement the security architecture for SAP systems, including user access management, role-based access control, and authorization concepts.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and assess potential security vulnerabilities in SAP systems and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines for SAP systems and to ensure that the organization's SAP systems are secure, compliant, and protected against cyber threats.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on SAP security technologies, tools, and best practices, including SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), Access Control (AC), and SAP SSO (Single Sign-On), SAP Central User Administration (CUA)
  • Develop and implement security monitoring and auditing mechanisms to detect and prevent security breaches in SAP systems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into security controls and measures in SAP systems.
  • Lead security projects related to SAP systems, including upgrades, patches, and system integrations, and ensure security is incorporated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to educate end-users and stakeholders on SAP security best practices and policies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and threats related to SAP security and provide recommendations to enhance the security posture of SAP systems.
  • Participate in incident response and forensic investigations related to SAP security incidents and provide technical expertise to resolve security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Guide, mentor and develop others, to be the face of the team.
