As a Production Technical Trainer, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly supportive and collaborative team who aims at enhancing employees’ skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work for the manufacture and packaging of our products.
What You’ll Do
-
Deliver technical training classes/courses to employees onsite and virtually

Work with the Training Coordinator or Technical Training Consultant to address the technical training needs
-
Work with Plant Leadership to prioritize assigned plant technical training projects
-
Communicate plant/department technical training needs to the Technical Training Consultant for new training requests and development
-
Provide input on process improvement initiatives and/or cross-functional plant projects (Kaizen, new equipment/technologies)

What You’ll Bring
-
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in adult education, instructional design/technology, or related field of study and two (2) years of related experience delivering technical training within a manufacturing facility, vocational and/or community college setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Understanding of needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation methodologies
-
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and understand manufacturing processes, procedures, regulations, technologies, machines, tools, and equipment

Excellent verbal and written skills to communicate intricate job-related processes

Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create and edit basic reports, documents, presentations, and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint

Strong attention to detail and accuracy specifically related to documenting detailed job tasks and instructions

Ability to effectively present to an audience

Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills

Ability to successfully prioritize and organize projects, deadlines, and tasks in both team and independent environments

Ability to calculate percentages when scoring tests and use classroom performance data to analyze and adjust future training courses

Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language to ensure effective new hire training and ongoing communications about safety and quality issues

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically
-
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
-
Favorable motor vehicle report upon hire

Prior experience utilizing Learning Management System (LMS), preferred
