Together, we lead and leave an positive impact on societies, companies and people around the world</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li><strong>Responsibilities &amp; tasks</strong></li></ul><p>Ramboll is seeking a Senior Piping Designer who has experience with Oil &amp; Gas, Offshore Substations, Chemical, Power and/or Industrial projects.  The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment layout, industrial process piping design, and piping support design.  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:</p><ul><li>Handle Projects with minimum support from REN-EEC as part of Global Engineering.</li><li>Execute work in compliance with the project requirements and the Company’s quality system.</li><li>Routing studies and preparing sketches for Drafting and 3D modelling</li><li>3D modelling (piping, equipment and supports) in E3D</li><li>Plot Plan / Equipment Layout – Prepare / check</li><li>Piping GA’s – Prepare / check</li><li>Isometrics – Prepare / check</li><li>MTO preparation and checking</li><li>Supports selection, preparation &amp; checking of support drawings. Pipe support modelling in E3D.</li><li>Critically responsible for quality of work</li><li>Checking of drawings/ documents with QA standards &amp; procedures</li><li>Checking of IDC documents from other disciplines</li><li>Extraction of drawings from E3D using the draft / relevant 2D module</li><li>Participate as required during Routing studies, model reviews, etc.</li><li>Coordinate with Discipline Engineers / designers / draughtsman</li><li>Coordination / Close Interaction with other Disciplines / Service area team members</li><li>Ensures efficient utilization of software in the team</li><li>Support optimizing the engineering and design process in terms of manhours, schedule and quality.</li><li>Participating in meetings with client.</li><li>Technical Issue Resolution.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Important Relations.</strong></p><ul><li>Lead Engineer / Sr.Engineer / Engineer / Designers and / or HOD.</li><li>Other departments for inputs, outputs, IDC, schedule, estimation, etc.</li><li>Client / Service Areas.</li><li>Team Members in case of clarifications / doubts.</li></ul><p><strong>Success Criteria.</strong></p><ul><li>Timely delivery of projects with right quality, within budget and schedule.</li><li>Minimise client complaints.</li><li>Coordinate within team and other departments and projects to minimize quality errors claims.</li><li>Continuously improve methods and lessons learnt to optimize client value.</li><li><p>Compliance with Ramboll Values.</p></li><li>Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>Minimum 12+ years of experience in Oil &amp; Gas, Power, Offshore substations, Chemical, Industrial Equipment – Experience can include both Greenfield and Brownfield.</li><li>Experience in offshore platforms preferred.</li><li>Ability to check and assure a cohesive design in accordance with P&amp;ID’s, piping specifications, company standards, and other project documentation</li><li>Ability to work with the client, project manager, and lead engineers and designers from other engineering disciplines for a cohesive design across all engineering disciplines</li><li>Experience modeling piping systems with 3D software, preferably E3D</li><li>Experience working with and understanding piping material specifications and their use within 3D piping modeling software</li><li>Very good experience generating and annotating 2D drawings using E3D-Draft - piping orthographic drawings and piping isometric drawings from 3D design software, preferably E3D</li><li>Should know the knitty gritty of E3D to 2D conversion and deliver in an optimal way.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in E3D.</li><li>Experience in Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering.</li><li>Is theoretically sound and also has a good practical understanding.</li><li>Well familiar with International codes and standards</li><li>Hands on experience in 3D Model review software like Navis.</li><li>Have hands on experience in 2D tools like ACAD and / or Micro-station.</li><li>Experience in vendor drawing review, IDC of other discipline drawings &amp; documents.</li><li>Kn
