WHY WE ARE HIRING:

As Codasip scales up its capability to match our growing customer base, we are looking for an IP project manager with a proven track record to deliver our best-in-class products and to help developing our project management capability.

This role will report to the current Czech and German Design Centers Manager of IP Engineering to ensure we deliver our products to cost, time, and quality. The role needs a specialist to provide oversight of our project management and to deliver our projects. Responsibilities will include both development of Codasip’s project management capability and “hands-on” project management of active projects.

YOUR ROLE:

• Develop a project chart (based on the roles we need in the project and who are the leads of each role)
• Deploy and sustain the project management culture necessary for the successful delivery of multi-faceted projects across multi-site teams and locations
• Identify stakeholders
• Consolidate the plan of the project in terms of scope, time, people, budget, and dependencies
• Identify any potential risks and issues, ensuring that they are impact-assessed, mitigated, and escalated where appropriate
• Communicate the status of the project to the stakeholders
• Monitor the status of the project (actual vs. planned) taking necessary corrective action to ensure the delivery of projects to quality cost and time
• Control the scope of the project in terms of schedule/budget and escalates any discrepancies from the initial plan
• Close the project and make sure that all the tasks are completed
• Gather analyses and consolidate all the metrics once the project is done
• Improve project management practices, tools, and templates in order to execute more efficiently

Requirements

YOU NEED TO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Specialist knowledge and experience in the implementation of project management frameworks such as Agile, Prince2, Scaled Agile, etc.
• Project management of HW IP or equivalent high-tech products
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with proactive and collaborative engagement with stakeholders
• Experience in risk management, managing escalations, conflicts, and issues
• Flexibility to adapt and influence in the face of change
• Ability to be hands-on when required

EDUCATION:

• Ideally BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng, or equivalents in a numerate discipline
• Preferably hold a recognised project management qualification, e.g. Prince2 Practitioner, APM PPQ, certified Scrum master, etc.
