About the job:
Elastic is seeking a Regional Marketing Manager - SLED (State, Local & Education)to create and execute targeted marketing programs to grow and accelerate our SLED business. Programs typically include virtual and live campaigns, third-party partner conferences, content syndication and account-specific programs. You will wake up each morning eager to build, drive, plan, and implement extraordinary marketing programs, targeting prospects and existing customers, as well as contribute to the success of the sales team's pipeline goals. This role will involve daily interaction with the field sales team, requiring an understanding of SLED buying behavior and how it maps to Elastic’s overall go-to-market strategy. You will be collaborate with teams across several departments while hosting and running your own programs to precision.
What You Will Do:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (partner marketing, sales, finance, operations, event, product, digital, regional, and campaign marketing) to build and lead Go-To-Market (GTM) programs with regional partners across SLED. Your plan will drive engagement and pipeline growth. You will help deliver impactful campaigns and events and explore new tactics and channels. Set metrics and goals for all programs and ensure measurements are trackable.
- You love data and will support the analysis and reporting of the programs and campaign goals
- You are super organized and can lead multiple projects at the same time, with various teams while making sure they’re all on time and on budget
- You have an eye for detail and will provide administrative support by opening POs, supervising the budget, and managing MDF reimbursements
- Create regional programs to meet demand generation goals, including field events, account-based marketing, executive programs, and trade shows
- Drive demand creation and lead generation activity in developing qualified sales leads and crafting brand awareness activities
- Measure and analyze the impact of programs on sales cycles; give updates to weekly reports and monthly dashboards to demonstrate campaign progress and region success
- Coordinate presentation content with other program key collaborators across all departments to generate event content and agendas
- Supply ideas and feedback to new content creation with a distributed marketing team
- Plan Elastic’s participation in external industry events where the events team needs support and feedback
What you will bring:
- Proven experience in regional or field marketing with a focus on the SLED market
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Splash, Marketo, Monday.com, and other similar programs
- Creativity and ability to think of new programs that can scale to many users
- A ‘let's-do-this’ attitude and passion for driving projects to completion
- Organization and an eye for detail. Things move quickly here but there are always notes, spreadsheets, and lists
- Proficiency working in Google apps like Gmail, Google Slides, Docs and Sheets
- Highly collaborative but can work independently/remote all while flexible to a dynamic scaling technology business
- An ambitious, yet humble approach
- Travel to programs as needed approximately 25% of the time

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range,
