We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager Engineering for Equipment Solutions for the Food & Beverage Industry:
You are passionate about leading and developing teams of process engineering & designers.
You will build relationships and collaborate across our global organization, facilitates business growth and inspires the team to deliver significant results.
The position is based in Bloomington.
Key Responsibilities:
You will build and lead a global team of Process Engineers and Designers, focused on the development, validation & commissioning of the High-End Fully Automated Full-Flow and Cross flow Filtration skids and systems for the Food and Beverage industry.
You will foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
You will direct and coordinate the engineering work to ensure that the equipment design is delivered and validated per customer specifications within the planned budget and timelines.
You will streamline and standardize the 2D and 3D design activities including hygienic design principles , meeting the highest quality standards of food & beverage markets.
You will also assure compliance with all applicable quality, safety and regulatory standards (FDA, BSI, GMP, Machine Directive PED, …).
Minimum Profile:
Engineering degree (B.S or M.S) in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering or equivalent technical degree
10+ years of experience in Food & Beverage Industry, preferably in Filtration applications.
5+ years of experience in leading high-performing teams of experienced engineers, designers or technicians.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must including the ability to collaborate across a globally diverse workforce and influence others to meet business objectives and deliver an improved customer experience.
Solid knowledge of applicable regulatory and quality Standards (FDA,BSI, GMP, Machine Directive PED, CE, UL, …).
Solid knowledge of Process Control and Process and Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant experience in Micro Filtration, Ultra and Nanofiltration in Food & Beverages Industry.
Experience in project management methodology and team coaching are a true added value.
Strong analytical and product development skills.
Fast learner and self-starter.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
