About the role

You’ll be central to Roku’s mission of delivering outstanding streaming experiences to over 120 million daily viewers. You will support two VPs leading product management who together lead Viewer Product, UX, Devices, Ads & Media for Roku. You will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency and effectiveness for our executives and the leadership team. This position isn’t just about managing calendars—it’s about being a trusted partner who enables leaders to focus on high-impact initiatives, ensures the seamless execution of critical business operations, and stays connected to the organization's pulse.   

This role is highly visible and integral to our fast-paced organization. You’ll interact daily with senior leaders across product, engineering, technology, and operations functions, providing proactive support and anticipating needs before they arise. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in ambiguity, and can confidently navigate shifting priorities with discretion and professionalism.  

For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $101,000 - $112,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Act as a force multiplier – shield executives from noise, surface critical decisions, and keep high-value work front and center. 
  • Own complex calendars and global travel – orchestrate seamless scheduling, meeting logistics, and end-to-end itineraries across time zones and expense reporting. 
  • Support leadership meetings – ensure agendas & materials are prepared, relevant parties can attend, capture actions, manage follow-ups to deliver outcomes.  
  • Drive cross-functional communication – Act as a liaison for VPs' direct reports, cross-functional stakeholders, other company administrative staff, other company executives, and external partners, ensuring information flows smoothly. 
  • Plan and execute team events – coordinate off-sites, all-hands meetings, key business meetings/meals, and team celebrations that foster culture and momentum. 
  • Implement AI-enabled workflows – pilot and refine Gen-AI tools (such as ChatGPT and Glean) to automate routine tasks and enhance team productivity. 
  • Balance competing priorities with sound judgment – Manage shifting demands, make trade-offs, and escalate when needed 
  • Manage confidential information – exercise impeccable discretion and professionalism at every turn. 

 

We're excited if you have

  • 8+ years supporting senior leaders as an Executive Assistant or People/HR related specialist within a software technology company. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, communications, or a related field. 
  • Proven mastery of Outlook, Slack, Confluence, Zoom, and modern AI productivity suites—and the curiosity to experiment with emerging tools. 
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills. 
  • A calm, proactive mindset that thrives amid shifting priorities and tight deadlines. 
  • Solutions-focused and self-directed, able to take initiative, resolve problems independently, and navigate ambiguity.  
  • Experience planning executive-level events and fostering an inclusive, high-energy team culture. 
  • A passion for streamlining processes, protecting leaders’ focus, and delivering outsized impact. 
  • A team player mentality and someone who works well with others. 
  • AI literacy and curiosity. You have either 1) tried Gen AI in your previous work or outside of work, or 2) are curious about Gen AI and have explored it.
