Microsoft's Monetization and Business Planning organization directs our commercial portfolio's pricing, packaging, licensing, channel, and monetization strategies. Few teams exist that have such a direct impact on Microsoft and the entire industry.
You will have an opportunity to lead the Commercial Licensing Strategy organization responsible for defining, enabling, marketing, and landing licensing strategies that span Azure, M365, D365, Copilot, and all software. In this unique position within Microsoft, you'll lead a team that directly influences business strategy, takes ownership of its successful implementation, and represents the needs of field, partner and customer audiences in our licensing strategies across Microsoft's product portfolio.

Responsibilities
How you can make an impact:
- Lead and evolve licensing strategy for all Microsoft Commercial products.
- Partner with other Business Planners and leaders across marketing, sales, operations, and legal teams to identify and lead new business strategies to enhance customer and partner licensing experiences and create new monetization opportunities.
- Directly influence Business Planning and C-suite executives by thoughtfully presenting new and evolving licensing and business strategies.
- Attract, retain, and grow a team of business planning talent. Lead with trust, inclusion and valuing diverse perspectives and ideas.
- Coach your team to grow their analytical, strategic, business, executive communications, and operational excellence capabilities.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years product management, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of technology industry within an enterprise cloud software company experience.
