Summary of the Job:

 

Tributary Capital Management has an opening for an Investments Intern, starting in May 2026. This summer / potentially one-year position will offer a student the opportunity to acquire practical work experience in an environment geared toward bottom‐up, fundamental equity research. They will obtain exposure to multiple methods of company valuation, learn various sources of information available to investors, have numerous opportunities to expand their business communication skills, and gain familiarity with investment software, such as Bloomberg and FactSet.

Tributary Capital Management is a SEC Registered Investment Adviser headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is for the Kansas City, MO office. We provide asset management services to institutions, individuals, and investment companies and manage over $4 billion in multiple equity strategies. We believe in active portfolio management, with an emphasis on vigorous, bottom‐up fundamental research and security valuation. We have a long-term investment horizon, which we feel is a key to generating consistent portfolio returns.


Location, Duration, and Hours:
This position will work on-site at Tributary Capital Management’s office, located at 1 Ward Parkway in Kansas City, MO. Due to the importance of working directly with our team on a day-to-day basis, there is not an option to work remotely with this position. This internship runs from May 2026 through August 2026 with the possibility to be mutually extended through May 2027.

Summer: 40 hours/week

School Year: ~20 hours/week (weekly schedule is flexible to accommodate class schedule)

Compensation
This is a paid internship.

About This Role:

 

Key Responsibilities

Perform preliminary equity research for portfolio managers and analysts. Prepare company summaries for existing/prospective investments. Participate in weekly investment meetings; assist with monitoring and reporting company news & events. Assist portfolio managers and analysts in preparing in‐depth research reports, including company valuation and recommendation. Additional projects as requested by portfolio managers and analysts.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

 

Requirements

Junior/Senior/Graduate Student. Business Majors (Finance/Accounting/Economics) who have taken coursework in investments. Completion of investments‐related coursework, and completion of/enrollment in the portfolio management course offered by their university.

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
