About the role

Essential Job Functions

  • Reviews bids for critical items such as financials, NDA, payment terms, due dates, etc.
  • Breaks down bids by region and high tonnage lanes, and passes to Bid Team regional holder
  • Coordinates meetings with Sales Associates, District Directors, Vertical Leads and RFQ Team to discuss strategy
  • Maintains and tracks Bid Team KPIs
  • Leads the development of complex pricing strategies from the client’s technical requirements.
  • Reviews statement of work packages and coordinate requirements with other internal department’s throughout the organization.
  • Develop pricing utilizing historical data, analysis, logistical requirements from diverse sources of data for the cost of shipping, freight forward and handling and storage of the client’s assets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Position may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing and walking.
  • Some light lifting may be required in some instances 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5 years experience in bid preparation/sales support
  • Industry experience a plus
