Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a R2T4 Funds Specialist - Boca Raton, FL

Summary of Responsibilities:

This position’s key responsibility is the timely completion of Return to Title IV calculations for all students who were scheduled for but failed to complete the entire period for which the federal aid was awarded. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to meet competing deadlines, has strong analytical and organizational skills, and is detail oriented. This position is an integral part of the department’s Finance Team, which oversees all of the financial operations and compliance matters.

  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of all R2T4 calculations.

  • Responsible for adhering to the financial aid and R2T4 policies and requirements and maintaining up to date procedures.

  • Evaluates weekly non-attendance reports to determine students who may be in violation of university attendance policy and re-calculates aid based on eligibility.

  • Serves as liaison and collaborates with the Registrar’s Office in all matters relating to the students’ enrollment reporting.

  • Processes weekly student grade change reports and recalculates student eligibility when applicable.

  • Supports the Assistant Director of Post-Disbursement, Finance & Administration position in the monthly Title IV and Alternative Loan reconciliations.

  • Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
