The Financial Aid R2T4 Coordinator provides administrative and professional expertise to the Office of Financial Aid and reports to the Assistant Director of Financial Aid. This position supports the delivery and accountability for federal, state, institutional and private financial aid funds. This position's main responsibility is to oversee processing all Federal Return to Title 4 calculations.

This position is hybrid eligible. Work is performed partially remote and partially on employer premises or designated assignment location. Hybrid work arrangements are subject to review.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with one year of professional level experience in higher education student services (i.e. Admissions, Enrollment, Records, Financial Aid, Academic Advising, etc.) OR completed Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution with two years of professional level experience in higher education student services OR four years of professional level experience in higher education student services.
  • Two years of experience with online student information systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in student relations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse communities and supporting individuals from diverse populations, including racial, ethnic, socio-economic and gender backgrounds that are underrepresented.

Professional level experience is defined by the Colorado Division of Human Resources: A position that involves the exercise of discretion, analytical skill, judgment, personal accountability, and responsibility for creating, developing, integrating, applying, or sharing an organized body of knowledge.  Colorado revised statute (C.R.S. 24-50-135(1) allows colleges to exempt positions from the State Personnel Classified System that are determined to be professional level work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years professional employment experience in a financial aid office in Higher Education
  • Demonstrated work experience in a community college
  • Experience with Banner Student Information System
  • Experience with interpretation of State and Federal financial aid regulations and procedures.
