POSITION SUMMARY
Works within the vision, mission, and philosophy of the agency. Acts on behalf of Executive Leadership with full-delegated authority to achieve defined outcomes by actively planning and managing the execution of strategic projects that contribute to organizational leadership development. This position is integral to realizing initiatives for organizational health for both short- and long-term strategic planning.
Reporting to the President/ Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the position oversees collaboration, design, implementation, and delivery of Pacific Clinics’ strategic leadership development goals, as defined by the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). This position is responsible for helping to define a larger leadership strategy for current and future agency leaders and managers. Effectively works across multiple agency domains including clinical operations and administration, the Project Management Office, human resources, JEDI office, communications, learning and development.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy Focus
- Works with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to realize defined aspects of the Agency’s Strategic Plan, with a focus on the Enrich Strategy: Build a strong organizational culture, rooted in racial equity, justice, inclusion and belonging, to support the personal and professional development of employees.
- Serves on the Agency’s Executive Strategic Leadership Team (ESLT).
- Builds on the current leadership development program in collaboration with external consultants and ELT to expand and scale the program to create a vibrant, sustainable leadership development program. Designs a program that offers various paths of learning individual, within and across teams, using a variety of learning modes to meet learners where they are.
- In collaboration with external consultants and HR leadership, designs a scalable program to support individual contributors become successful managers, and creates a vibrant, sustainable program to support the ongoing development of managers, and to prepare them for more senior leadership roles.
- In collaboration with HR leadership, refresh the HR Essential Program for managers, and support the creation and implementation of a plan to deliver an engaging and effective program to all agency managers.
- Coordinate with other agency learning and development leaders to enhance employee development in alignment with the agency’s Service Delivery Principles and Values.
- Plans, leads, and directs the agency’s overall leadership and management development efforts to achieve strategic goals in keeping with the organization’s vision, mission, values, and strategic plan.
- Designs and implements all programs, trainings, and communications through a lens that is trauma-informed, and rooted in racial equity, justice, inclusion and belonging, to support the personal and professional development of our employees.
Coordination, Integration, and Implementation of Agency Initiatives in Organizational Development
- Demonstrates strong cross-agency generative and collaborative design in development of employees, managers, and leaders, recognizing the work of other departments, and ensuring continuity and flow of development across the agency’s strategic projects.
