Job Description

We are hiring two HR Generalists to support our Crop Protection Business in our NA Crop Protection HQ in Greensboro, NC.

Duties:

  • Continue to develop your HR capabilities in a developmental role within the Human Resources Business Partnering team
  • Provide professional HR support to Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs), business leaders and employees in the Crop Protection business and and within Corporate Functions
  • Influence overall process improvement and consistency throughout core processes to help drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partner with HRBPs and Centers of Excellence to ensure that the HR processes and systems are in place to drive the achievement of business goals
  • Provide trend analysis and best practice insights to address key HR metrics
  • Coach and support managers for people-focused processes and initiatives, such as performance and talent management, recruitment, HRIS navigation, and termination notifications
  • Provide excellent customer service and counsel to employees as questions arise around topics such as internal system navigation, policy process and clarification, personal career development, etc.
  • Partner with HR colleagues and business leaders to update and present monthly new hire onboarding through virtual webcasts
  • Support immigration processes, in conjunction with Syngenta’s Global Mobility team and Immigration Lead

This position will be in a hybrid work setting, with the expectation to typically be in the office in Greensboro 3 days per week.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 3 to 4 years of experience working in Human Resources
  • Exposure to US HR practices, policies, laws
  • Experience managing employee relations

Preferred:

  • HR business partnering experience
  • HR certification from SHRM or HRCI
