What We Do
Thoropass combines simple software with expert guidance to help SaaS companies manage security compliance, security audits, and enterprise procurement security diligence. Thoropass helps companies adopt stage-appropriate compliance practices that enterprises can trust and reduce the time and costs of security audits by 50% or more.
We are a rapidly expanding team based in New York. We were founded in May 2019 and raised our Series C funding in November 2022. Our top investors include J.P. Morgan, PayPal Ventures, Fin Capital, Centana, and Bain Capital. We're growing customers and revenue dramatically, and we’re poised for continued break-out growth in 2023 and beyond.
About the Job
You will work shoulder to shoulder with both Thoropass’ CEO & President and provide support in order to ensure that their time, prioritization of key initiatives and decision making is more effective. You will establish an administrative system that helps guide the day to day operations of the business. You are highly organized and will align the Founder’s day-to-day time and efforts with the priorities of the business, manage internal / external relationships, and execute special projects to further our vision to “Be the World’s Favorite Compliance and Audit Platform”. You have the ability to work with a high level of discretion and be able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. This role is based in NYC and is hybrid requiring attendance in the Midtown Manhattan office Tuesday through Thursday from 9am - 6pm.
What you’ll do:
- The typical day is… atypical. You might proactively manage day-to-day projects and incoming requests on behalf of the CEO or President, work on planning a dinner or event for them or even investigate a special project idea or opportunity.
- You will be managing cross-functional projects requiring collaboration across many functions and their executive leaders.
- Research on new business opportunities and geographies
- Be the right hand person, ensuring that the right things get prioritized
- Ensuring all the details get executed to plan
- You will act as a gatekeeper, managing the CEO & President’s communications and serving as a liaison between internal teams.
- You’ll maintain the CEO & President’ calendar, prioritizing appointments and work blocks for maximum productivity and impact.
- Additionally, you’ll manage travel logistics including developing itineraries, booking flights, hotel accommodations and car services.
- Aside from this, you’ll partner and influence cross-functionally with internal teams like People, Operations, Finance, Growth, Product, Engineering and others..
- You’ll get to work on special projects to include presentation slide content creation, coordination of small events, and data research.
- You’ll support new employee onboarding by hosting a regular “New Hire Onboarding” Session.
- You’ll manage the CEO & President’s network of contacts and connections and draft internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO & President, along with expense tracking, and ad hoc personal tasks.

- Highly proficient in Slack, Zoom and G-Suite
- High sense of urgency, timeliness and commitment to follow-through
