**Please note** This role has as in office requirement. Minimum 2 days per week in either the Santa Clara, CA or San Diego, CA ServiceNow offices.

We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise, a strong understanding of software security, and deep customer empathy. This individual will play a key role in partnering with engineering teams to ensure our customers and partners continue to trust us to keep their information secure.
Our Product Security Team – part of CISO organization, is looking for highly energetic and experienced Senior Staff Outbound Product Security Manager to work closely with multiple internal security teams to understand:
- Customer needs from the security researcher and Red Team points of view
- Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to define problems and prioritize them
- Actively help shape continuous security improvements for the ServiceNow Platform.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with Product Security Research, Red Team, Product Management, Engineering, to help define the security vision and enhancements of ServiceNow offerings, strategy, and roadmap.
- Identify new experiences and enhance existing functionalities to improve platform security.
- Establish and prioritize a data-driven backlog, including security enhancements.
- Be the voice of the customer in technical security discussions and help define customer benefit in business terms, helping to reduce risk.
- Coordinate with Documentation, Training, Support, and Professional Services teams to ensure smooth and timely releases of security enhancements and features.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
- 15+ years in product management, product ownership, or technical product analysis within commercial software product companies.
- At least 7 years of experience in areas such as monitoring, detection, authentication, authorization, or access control technologies.
- Familiarity with compliance security regulations and standards, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework, EU Cybersecurity Act, GDPR, FedRAMP, or PCI.
- AI Security experience is a plus.
- Ability to quickly adopt new technical concepts.
- Experience in financial services security is advantageous.
- Certifications such as Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or SANS GIAC Security Essentials are beneficial.
- Strong presentation skills, comfortable delivering product presentations to large audiences.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Ability to lead technical debates and lead the team to a decision.

Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $168,900 to $295,600, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
