Accounts Payable Analyst Temp

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for accounting tasks related to the maintenance and processing of accounts payable. Acts as system administrator and provides technical support for assigned applications. Serves as Subject Matter Expert on assigned processes, procedures & business applications.  

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Manage miscellaneous invoices, payment requests or other expenditures.
• Requests setup and maintains vendors or suppliers in the accounting systems.
• Ensures transactions are timely and accurate, and that expenses are accurately coded and allocated
• Responsible for the assigned accounts payable accounts
• Ensures timely and accurate payments
• Application administration includes master data maintenance, person record, vendor updates, OKR project updates, exports and GL code changes
• Application subject matter expert, trainer and technical support to organization
• Reporting and analysis
• Create, maintain and analyze weekly and monthly accounts payable metrics and trends.
• Analyze accounts payable technology solutions and implement improvements and efficiencies.
• Act as a liaison between the Accounts Payable and IT departments.
• Provide technical support to the department and resolve issues. Coordinate and perform system testing.
• Prepare analysis of accounts/statements, reconcile payments, and ensure payments are up to date.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

• Researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies
• Assists in year-end or monthly/quarterly accounting procedures, including 1099 issuance as needed
• Onboarding activities for new hires if applicable
• Administration of corporate card and travel program

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma and 4-6 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• ERP system experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office experience
• Financial analysis
• Excellent communication
