Description
We’re looking for an experienced insurance professional to lead our Insurance Shared Services function, delivering expert, strategic insurance support to London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), the Greater London Authority (GLA) and a growing group of partner organisations with a combined asset base of over £2.5bn.You’ll shape and deliver insurance strategies, manage complex renewals, oversee claims, advise on major projects and contracts, and build strong relationships with brokers, insurers, and senior stakeholders. With an annual premium spend of around £4m, this is a role with real scope, influence, and visibility.
We’re seeking someone who brings deep commercial insurance expertise, confidence working independently, and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. If you’re proactive, analytical, and ready to lead a high‑value, high‑trust service, we’d love to hear from you.

Benefits
- The salary for this post is £103,604 per annum. LLDC operates a performance-based incremental pay scale.
- The probationary period for this post is for 6 months. Upon successful completion of the probation period, confirmation of employment will be given, and the notice period will be three months.
- This is a permanent role.
- This is full time position, working 37 hours per week.
- All employees are eligible to join our pension scheme, which is provided by the Local Government Pension Scheme.
- Annual leave entitlement is 32 days per year, plus bank holidays, pro-rata for part-time employees. The LLDC leave year runs from 1st
