Transform your regulatory enforcement career into a public-facing, media role. 

Silent Eight is looking for someone who wants to become a globally known voice on KYC, AML, and broader sanctions topics. In this role, you will bring the knowledge and desire to be camera-ready and we will provide the media training. 

The VP of Policy & Public Engagement  will be responsible for 4 main areas:

1 - Drive the voice of the industry into all parts of the organization

2 - Be the voice/face of the firm with Tier 1 Media 

3 - The go-to person for regulatory questions, C-suite client meetings, and journalist inquiries

4 - Charing quarterly global client advisory boards

Key Duties: 

• Provide week-ahead events/stories that you can comment on
• Review the week past and comment on events/stories
• Speak with journalists on background, managing relationships
• Work collaboratively with and influence Product, Sales, and Customer Success
• Approve all sales and  marketing communications and collaterals
• Lead conversations with Journalist (TV / Social media) and speak at major global summits

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree and/or advanced degree in Business Management / Law 
• Overall 15+ years of experience in sanctions enforcement or with other regulators
• Strong communication skills and compelling presence, media experience is not essential for the role, full training will be provided  
• Ability to travel to New York regularly

 

Location: US - NY (or able to regularly travel to NY)
