Job Description
- Reports to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, this senior executive is responsible for customer relations and engagements to help protect existing Elbit America programs and develop new business within the U.S. Navy/U.S. Marine Corps and Foreign Military Sales (as required).
- This role requires working in tandem with other Customer Sector Team leads and the business units to ensure a collaborative, comprehensive, and coordinated approach to the customer
Responsibilities:
- Act as the executive leadership to all Business Unit Leadership with advisement, mentorship and counsel for strategic capture efforts for all Rotary Wing. Act as the Senior Executive for all maritime opportunities and collaboration with ESL and Affiliates as part of Elbit Systems, Limited (ESL) in Haifa, Israel.
- Lead strategic objectives and engagement planning with individual BUs for Navy Aviation Rotary Wing conferences. As assigned, lead the Marine Corps and Rotary Wing Customer Sector Team (CST) to properly align ESA for continued success with existing programs and development of new business.
- Understand relevant Elbit Systems corporate technology portfolio and Navy-Marine Corps user requirements, including acquisition roadmaps, CONOPS, and S&T investment plans.
- Support ESA business units and ESL business units in developing and growing business with U.S. government and prime contractors.
- Provides, as needed, input to the various business units on matters pertaining to current program execution and future business opportunities and how they are tied to the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP) and the PPBE process.
- Understand ESA and ESL business unit business plans and objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, both for initial acquisition and product support/sustainment, within the Navy-Marine Corps program portfolio; as determined in collaboration with ESA Business Units, and support the development of targeted opportunities using the ESA Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
- Work closely with customers to shape future requirements and program strategies.
- Develop, maintain and execute a contact plan with key government and local industry personnel.
- Provides weekly inputs to the SVP of marketing and the CEO on important high-level activities within your sphere of influence.
- As assigned, if applicable, assist the ESA NAVAIR lead in developing and executing an annual marketing plan and budget for key activities, branding opportunities as well as office and travel expenses.
- Ensure the physical security of the Patuxent River, MD office facilities
- Obtain a full-time visitor badge “Contractors CAC card” to allow base and facility access.
- Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
