The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University offers several  highly-regarded Masters programs designed for working professionals (i.e. part-time enrollment), including the Executive MBA (EMBA), the Masters of Business Operational Excellence (MBOE), the Working Professionals MBA (WPMBA), the Masters in Supply Chain Management (MSCM), the Specialized Masters in Business – Analytics (SMB-A) and the Masters in Human Resources Management (MHRM). All programs are designed for working professionals and provide advanced business education and leadership development, but vary in the scope and specialization of the program.

The Business Development Senior Liaison develops and implements business development strategies to attract corporate support for employee enrollment in these working professional programs; creates new opportunities for generating program visibility in the business community; identifies and engages potential corporate partners, fostering relationships that lead to employee sponsorship opportunities; collaborates closely with the academic directors and recruiters for these programs to align business development efforts with program goals and objectives; represents the Fisher College of Business (FCOB) at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote various graduate programs; works closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support business development efforts.

This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to business development, focusing on building partnerships that enhance the visibility and reputation of the programs. Flexibility is essential, as the position may require occasional evening or weekend commitments, as well as travel. Significant interaction with various stakeholders is inherent to the role.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in business administration, public administration, marketing or a related field of study. 4 years’ experience in business development, sales, or corporate relations or a related area.

Ability to facilitate opportunities for engagement between industry partners, faculty, students, and other units at the university. Ability to identify and foster and maintain collaborative relationships with industry partners. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Metrics and results driven. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business development plans. Possesses excellent verbal written and visual communications skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent education and experience in business administration, public administration, marketing or a related field of study. Experience working with graduate or executive education programs in a university setting. Strong understanding of graduate programs and their value to corporate partners.

Additional Information:

The target hiring range for this job profile is $75,700 - $98,900. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
