Description
Magnus Metal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical / Polymer / Materials Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science, chemical engineering, or polymer science, and will be responsible for developing and optimizing new materials and processes to enhance our product offerings. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and a passion for innovation and problem-solving in the materials engineering field.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize new materials and processes to enhance the performance and efficiency of our products.
- Conduct research and testing to evaluate the properties and performance of various materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance to implement new materials and processes.
- Analyze data and prepare technical reports and documentation to support material development projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all material development activities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for material-related issues in production and customer applications.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in materials science and engineering to continuously improve our products.

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related field; a Master’s or PhD is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials development, chemical engineering, or polymer science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct detailed research and analysis.
- Proven experience with material characterization techniques and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to materials and chemical engineering.
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in the field of materials engineering.
