Human Resources Intern

JOB SUMMARY:              

The Human Resources Intern will support projects which strengthen the human resources administrative and workforce development functions. Working with human resources professionals, the intern will learn about the role of HR within a manufacturing environment and reinforce the mission and values of Polar Semiconductor LLC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead or Support any of the following Human Resources projects:

• Update Tuition Benchmarks 
• Social Media site management
• Develop & Implement a School Supplies Drive 
• Research and develop framework for a DEI Program 
• Develop self-driven Kronos orientation/training materials 
• Other projects, as able or assigned

• Other duties, as assigned

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Minimum of Junior year with human resources, business administration, or other related degree
• MS Office capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS: (Fab-involved roles, example)

• Requires walking and standing in an office setting
• Lift/carry 10 pounds at a time
• Must be able to read small print, with or without visual corrective lenses.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• Corporate and departmental orientations
• General: SPC, Annual Hazardous Waste and Right-to-Know, Annual EMS
• Other training, as assigned
