Senior UI Artist - Romania

In our Game Studio we design and develop a wide range of games, from VR/AR experiences all the way to AAA blockbuster games.</p> <p><br/> <b>You will get the chance to:</b></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with a talented team of artists, producers, game designers, and developers to create captivating content for our players.</li> <li>Utilize your technical skills and creativity to apply UI design principles, crafting visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces that leave a positive impact on our business.</li> <li>Get used to design solutions, assets, and layouts that enable users to perform tasks with ease and satisfy their emotional needs.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with artists to maintain a consistent style throughout UI assets, while also working alongside UX designers to guide players' attention effectively.</li> <li>Innovate and explore, but you know when to adhere to established styles.</li> <li>Build knowledge of the industry and the company, and participate in opportunities to improve personal UI design skills as well as design processes on the team.</li> <li>Collaborate harmoniously with other crafts and exemplify good communication.</li> <li>Participate in sprint planning meetings, design reviews and sprint retrospectives.</li> <li>Work with professionals who have created some of the most revolutionary games.</li> <li>Take an active part in the Game Development industry and develop your career in our Games Studio.</li> </ul> <p><br/> <b>What will help you succeed:</b></p> <ul> <li>Have imagination &amp; love innovating.</li> <li>Being flexible &amp; goal oriented.</li> <li>Be creative &amp; have a true passion for games.</li> <li>Be proactive &amp; have problem solving capabilities.</li> <li>Speak fluent English. </li> <li>Have hands-on experience creating UI assets for casual and/or mobile games (mandatory, 5+ years)</li> <li>Be able to create high- fidelity mockups, screens, and UI assets that clearly demonstrate a very strong understanding of advanced graphic design principles, while still adhering to the product's overall style guide.</li> <li>Have experience of integrating assets (in any game engine) as sprites in atlases, animations in timelines, properly sizing art and optimizing resources, and building scenes with our editor.</li> <li>Know how to create and implement assets carefully and efficiently, always being mindful of any impact said implementation could have on other crafts or product areas.</li> <li>Have knowledge of technical constraints, optimization and implementation.</li> <li>Be able to proactively deliver artwork to the target device.</li> <li>Have experience working with version control software in a video game production environment.</li> <li>Having concept art skills with a good eye for composition and color (bonus point)</li> <li>Having skills in animation and special effects (bonus point)</li> <li>Have excellent communication skills.</li> <li>Be an excellent team player, a flexible and adaptable person, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>We kindly request you to include a <em><b>portfolio</b></em> demonstrating all aspects of your skillset with your application.</p> <p><br/> If you want to know more about our benefits and perks click here. </p> <p> </p> <p>This job can be filled from anywhere #LI-Remote in Romania.</p>
