About the role

Provides leadership within the StimLabs organization

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with recovery partners such as hospitals, birth centers, OB/GYNs, etc.
  • Developing Beyond Birth program awareness for prospective Hospitals
  • Managing and forecasting incoming donors to ensure donor forecasting requirements are met
  • Leading and coaching Beyond Birth program on the birth tissue donation process from referral to recovery
  • Educating hospital staff on the birth tissue donation process
  • Giving formal and informal presentations to various audiences
  • Completing regular hospital visits in the form of business reviews to provide feedback on hospital performance
  • Negotiating contracts with hospitals that wish to participate in the Beyond Birth recovery program
  • P&L Responsibility regarding Tissue acquisition
  • Acts as a quality leader within the organization, raising awareness for quality standards and education about Partner Alliance and Beyond Birth.
  • Encourages the development of Partner Alliance and Beyond Birth staff through evaluation of performance and implementation of performance improvement programs.
  • Responsible for hiring additional departmental staff as needed to support the needs of the organization.
  • Maintaining quality and regulatory compliance with Stimlabs' policies
  • Acts as a quality leader within the organization, respectfully raising and promoting awareness for quality standards and education.

Manages the daily operations of the Partner Alliance and Beyond Birth Departments

  • Oversees the strategic operation of the Partner Alliance and Beyond Birth departments to ensure company objectives are met.
  • Designs, implements, maintains, and continuously improves all elements of the Partner Alliance and Beyond Birth Program.
  • Develops Quality System Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Forms related to Partner Alliance, Beyond Birth, and other areas as assigned when applicable.
  • Establishes departmental training program for Partner Alliance and Beyond Birth and external partners when applicable.
  • Represent the Partner Alliance and Beyond Birth departments during interdepartmental meetings.
  • Assist Quality with Complaints, Adverse Reactions, Deviations/Investigations, CAPA, Product Return, and Nonconforming Product processes, when donor eligibility is applicable; specifically, responsible for assigning appropriate resources for completion of activities/documentation and ultimately providing critical review and approval of reports.
  • Supports the Supplier Quality and control program for donor-specific suppliers, including qualification activities, execution of Contracts and Quality Agreements, audits, approval decisions, and ongoing supplier maintenance. Donor-specific suppliers may include but are not limited to, recovery partners, infectious disease testing laboratories, microbiological testing laboratories, and reagents/supplies used for tissue acquisition/recovery.
  • Development and maintenance of Departmental and Partner Performance Metrics
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned by Executive Management

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical/relevant field with at least ten (10) years of experience in an FDA-regulated facility with supervisory responsibility; or an appropriate combination of education, certification, and work experience.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Quality Systems and Regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR 1271, 21 CFR 820, AATB, ISO 13485, cGTP, cGMP, and other applicable state and federal regulations.
