THE JOB:

As a Senior Assistant Executive Steward in the bustling banquets kitchen, you'll be at the heart of crafting unforgettable events and elevating guest experiences to extraordinary levels! With your infectious smile and commitment to service, you'll set the stage for magical moments, ensuring every detail shines. 

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Oversee stewarding operations to meet and exceed departmental goals.

• Manage HR functions: foster teamwork, provide feedback, recognition, ensure employee satisfaction, and handle hiring, training, and succession planning in line with diversity and legal standards.

• Assist with labor relations issues, investigations, and recommend appropriate actions, including counseling, suspensions, or terminations.

• Supervise training and development programs for stewarding staff.

• Implement F&B policies, procedures, training programs, schedules, and regulations for stewarding personnel.

• Coordinate purchasing and requisitions to support F&B operations.

• Ensure all staff are trained on stewarding policies, procedures, and equipment use.

• Serve as liaison with contractors, vendors, and Health Department.

• Conduct regular kitchen inspections.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in stewarding within the hotel/casino industry

• Knowledge of all kitchen steward functions and all materials and equipment used in the kitchen

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
