Role Responsibilities

Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to: 

• A primary concentration on the German market
• Coordination and responsibility for the entire transaction management process of acquisition or sales, from initial analysis of opportunities to SPA negotiations, including coordination of involved parties, external consultants and service providers
• Sourcing investment opportunities in the market through established networks with brokers, developers and other relevant market participants (in the office, logistics, residential and retail sectors), with the focus on “off market” deals
• Comprehensive cash flow modelling to assess return forecasts
• Preparation of decision papers and presentation of investment opportunities in the respective national and international committees
• Close cooperation with colleagues from the portfolio and asset management teams, the business development team and the fund finance team

Job Requirements

• A degree in economics or law (or comparable), and several years of professional experience in real estate investment management
• Knowledge of the German market for all relevant real estate sectors, e.g. office, logistics, retail and residential
• A good network among real estate investors, developers and service providers (brokers, lawyers, etc.), which will allow and enhance access to off-market investment opportunities
• Enthusiasm for the real estate industry, and knowledge of current trends and the German and international investment market
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Willingness to work in an international organization for both German and international investors and structures (including close, direct contact with APAC investors)
• Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial and able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
• A fast learner with a strong eagerness to adapt and quickly grasp new topics
• Highly numerate and analytical with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel to aid financial modelling
• Very good German and English language skills
