Job Summary: 

The Sales Department Lead is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the overall performance of the assigned sales department. This role builds customer confidence through knowledgeable, personalized assistance and helps drive business results by increasing sales metrics and supporting team development. 

 

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $21.00 - $23.73 

  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026  

  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available 

  • Housing Availability: No 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver exceptional guest service by building rapport, providing expert product knowledge, and promoting sales at the point of sale. 

  • Support merchandising standards by maintaining a clean, organized department and communicating inventory needs to management. 

  • Drive business performance through upselling strategies that increase units per transaction and average dollar sales. 

  • Assist with onboarding and training of new team members to ensure consistent service and operational excellence. 

  • Collaborate with other departments and maintain a flexible schedule to meet business demands. 

  • Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques and adherence to all company policies and procedures. 

 

Job Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, with strong communication skills in spoken and written English. 

  • 1+ year of ski/snowboard rental or related retail experience and a passion for skiing or snowboarding. 

  • Ability to multitask, troubleshoot guest concerns, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, based on business needs. 

 

The expected pay range is $21.00 - $23.73. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
