The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for cycle counting at Sloan’s Franklin Park location along with overseeing production transactions. In this role you will be responsible for scheduling counts, gathering the cycle counters’ results, analyzing them, and booking them into the system. The Inventory Control Supervisor also trains and manages an inventory team of hourly employees responsible for daily counts and transactions.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage and own the processes for cycle counting
- Coordinate and manage daily physical cycle counts
- Book daily cycle counts at the frequency required per cycle
- Supervise 6 hourly employees responsible for cycle counting and performing backflush transactions
- Analyze inventory adjustments for root cause and implement corrective actions
- Ensure all day-to-day inventory records are updated including production, scrap, rejected materials, returns, and offsite inventory
- Improve inventory accuracy
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years Inventory/production experience
- 5+ Years Supervisory experience
- Experience leading teams, engaging employees to execute, accomplish and drive results.

- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Logistics experience preferred (APICS, ISM) and advanced level experience working with SAP or other ERP business system.
