What You’ll Do
Reporting to Strive Health’s President, the Chief Nephrologist will serve as a clinical evangelist for Strive Health’s clinical model and will drive patient impact for the enterprise. The Chief Nephrologist will share accountability for core growth metrics, nephrology partner retention, and be responsible for the performance of our partnered nephrology practices in clinical and financial performance expectations. The Chief Nephrologist will partner with the Chief Clinical Officer and other clinical leadership to guide development of clinical programs, train patient-facing Strivers, and ensure high quality clinical experience for our patients. The Chief Nephrologist will be a cultural leader for Strive’s clinical teams and broadly as a senior leader for the enterprise. This individual will report to Strive Health’s President.
The Day to Day
- Evolve Strive’s workflows, metrics, clinical programs and total-cost-of-care strategies to be a best-in-class kidney care provider
- Be a leading voice in Strive’s renal training for Kidney Heroes
- Accountability for Strive’s clinical outcomes, particularly for Optimal Starts and ESRD patient management
- Advocate for equitable, high-quality care which ranges from preventative care to managing highly complex comorbid conditions, including a focus on both medical and social needs
- Support regional dyad on account management of strategic nephrology practices. This includes active participation in recurring clinical meetings with practices. This individual will develop and maintain a relationship with external providers and have a level of accountability for retention and performance of Strive’s partner practices
- Serve as clinical partner with internal groups such as Network and Customer Success to further strengthen Strive’s partnerships
