About the role:
The Senior Manager, Content Development, Professional Education, will report to the Director, Professional Education. This position is responsible for implementing a Professional Education strategy and developing capabilities, content, and programs that support Intracept training goals. Intracept is transformative in the treatment of chronic low back pain.
This position will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and education leadership to develop detailed plans for Professional Education execution, including budgets, facility usage, tools/materials, and faculty needs.
This position will lead cross-functional projects and ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company policies.
Your responsibilities:
- Understand and apply medical device market, customer, and competitive set knowledge to shape Relievant Professional Education strategy and curriculum.
- Identify HCP’s unmet learning needs and develop solutions that increase the value and differentiation of our education offerings.
- Partner with Marketing colleagues to ensure Professional Education program offerings are aligned with business strategy and key messaging.
- Consult with Sales and Marketing and offer expertise on establishing training priorities to meet business objectives and ensure sales growth.
- Utilize data to measure, analyze, and evaluate Professional Education program effectiveness.
- Define goals and objectives for all projects/programs and measure accordingly to support a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Effectively navigates the matrix work environment to develop solid cross-functional partnerships, create followership, and influence without authority.
- Develop strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, societies, and facilities.
- Manage vendor negotiations to ensure outsourced products/programs meet Relievant expectations.
- Manage and propel several content development projects simultaneously.
- Establish a governance process for all Professional Education content, curriculum, and strategy to ensure consistency, quality, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Identify, evaluate, and present current research and the latest benchmarking trends in learning media and technology-based performance development solutions, enhancing the effectiveness and innovation of training programs.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A minimum of seven (7) years in progressive commercial roles within training, Sales, and/or Marketing with a documented history of success.
- Proven ability to understand business strategy and translate it into education solutions that support the company's goals.
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and effectively lead complex projects.
- Proven track record of working in a matrix environment requiring a high degree of collaboration.
- Proven ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Budget management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of adult learning, curriculum design, and learning evaluation methodologies.
- Proven track record of learning modernization and innovation.
- Ability to build rapport with team members and to collaborate on project completion.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and present data-driven insights and trends.
- Proven ability to communicate ideas and insights in person, virtually, and in writing, succinctly and with impact, understanding what is relevant vs. what is "noise" to the audience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability and desire to take initiative.
- Ability to travel 50%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in curriculum/instructional design, organizational development, or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience with medical device companies in a training/ Professional Education role.
- Global and/or regional marketing experience.
