Shift Hours: C Shift - Friday thru Sunday: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Summary: Flex Binding Operator is a highly motivated individual who delights the customer with an effortless with an effortless experience by ensuring superior quality of all produced documents in the Flex area. Flex binding Workflows are different processes of binding pages together into a book.  These plastic finishing, wire, finishing, tape strips with glue finishing, and staple finishings, to create a strong and lasting bind.

Key Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and comprehend the job instructions (QA Checklist), which may include: general instruction, special Instructions, and change orders
• Understand the Flex Binding Workflows for completing customer orders: 
• Comb
• Twin Loop
• Velo
• Tape
• Staple
• Responsible for completing additional binding types (odd-sized jobs) in the product workflow
• Meet or exceed production goals set by the management team
• Ensure adherence to all documented processes and procedures
• Others duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time while walking frequently
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Able to bend, stoop, and reach occasionally

•   EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent(required)
• Must be dependable, flexible and have the ability to work overtime with little or no notice(required)
• Entry-level computer experience(required)
• Patience and focus with high attention to detail(required)
• Basic mechanical knowledge(required)
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment(preferred)
• Ability to perform tasks that require hand-eye coordination as well as dexterity
• Focused on accomplishing a given task.  Must be goal-oriented and organized
