Outage Project Engineer (OPE) will provide technical support to internal customers (PM/CPM/Service Manager) in preparation of critical shutdowns, working in accordance with internal guidelines, embracing customer’s requests with a proactive approach. OPE will behave as the engineering entry point for internal customers and regional operations and will ensure smooth outage executions, will promote extra works, productivity and cost avoidance.
During outage executions OPE will support shutdowns either from remote or being involved in site activities, depending on customer needs and outage criticalities.
In both preparation and execution phases, OPE will collaborate with other teams within Service Engineering and Service (CBM, TA, PSE, Commissioning, Digital Service, Global Ops, SALT, Productivity Team) to improve collection of LL, to share best practices, to expedite issue resolution, to promote a continuous improvement of maintenance activities.

As an Outage Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
OPE will be assigned with several outage preparations over the year and for each preparation he/she will maintain a solid networking with PM/CPM/Service Manager, regional operations and preparation teams, always promoting a good and professional reputation of Outage Engineering team.
In outage preparation and execution, OPE will keep the focus on site specific issues, as per internal customers indication.
For any outage preparation, OPE will cover a standard scope that consists in analysis and screening of: NIC/TIL and service bulletins, SR-RCA, FS Reports, Best Practices, special and smart tools, upgrades. Analysis of unit maintenance history and technology databases. When available, OPE will collect data from RMD and TRP. When needed, OPE will develop customized FMEA and will review parts & gantt for outage execution.
OPE will be promoting digital services and productivity initiatives.
OPE will share engineering dispositions constantly with the preparation team, being deeply involved in the operating rhythm of an outage preparation. He/she will collect all the engineering dispositions in the Outage Engineering Report that will be released and stored in BH databases after any outage execution.
OPE is responsible for collection and sharing of best practice, transferring LL to other team members and other teams. Will collaborate with the team leader in the improvement of internal tools.
OPE can be involved in meetings with the end-customer to present engineering dispositions and to support PM/CPM/SM in technical discussions.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent scientific field/demonstrated experience
Have an Advanced knowledge of at least one product from TPS portfolio and basic knowledge of TPS products in general (Gas/Steam turbines, Centrifugal/Axial/Reciprocating compressors), both Flange to Flange and Auxiliaries.
Have a knowledge of outage executions, maintenance events, commissioning and startup of units.
Having able to understand P&ID, drawings, parts lists and gantt.
Have an ability to meet deadlines, to work independently, to manage multiple projects at the same time
Have excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to interact at all levels within and outside the company.
Should be open minded, flexible, able to collaborate without boundaries
Have a past site experience in the role of FSE, Service Manager, Site Manager, QAQC
Having a willingness and ability to travel 10% of the time
