JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager manages the day-to-day operations of multi-family construction projects while adhering to established management policies and procedures. This role is responsible for overseeing projects from job setup through construction and final closeout, coordinating project teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within established budgets. The Project Manager also works closely with customers and internal teams to support successful project delivery and maintain strong working relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Key performance objectives are:

· Successfully manage projects from job setup through project closeout.
· Maintain cost effectiveness and project schedule performance.
· Coordinate and lead project teams throughout all phases of construction.
· Resolve project issues and ensure smooth project execution.
· Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders and customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned construction projects.
Coordinate project setup activities including documentation, scheduling, and team alignment.
Oversee construction phase activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Support project closeout activities including final documentation and completion requirements.
Supervise project team members and coordinate work assignments as needed.
Support customer relations activities and serve as a project contact when required.
Monitor project performance and address operational issues as they arise.
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and project standards.
Promote collaboration across project teams and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university program preferred, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
2–4 years of experience supporting or managing construction projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level.
Ability to become proficient with project management software such as Procore.
Strong reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, reports, and project information.
Ability to effectively communicate information to customers, project teams, and management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work in construction project environments.
Regular use of hands, arms, and communication abilities to perform job duties.
Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
Occasional lifting and movement of materials up to 25 pounds.
Ability to see clearly at both close and distance ranges as required for project work.
