Industrial Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
· Plant Layout Design:
o Develop and maintain detailed 2D layouts in AutoCAD.
o Create and update 3D models of the plant to visualize spatial arrangements and workflow.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure layouts support safety, efficiency, and scalability.
· Process Analysis & Optimization:
o Conduct time studies to analyze and improve labor and machine utilization.
o Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production processes.
o Recommend and implement improvements to reduce waste and increase throughput.
o Participate in process estimating and development through layout and simulations.
o Develop and conduct DOEs to optimize the process in terms of quality and throughput.
· Value Stream Mapping:
o Lead value stream mapping sessions to document current state processes.
o Design future state maps with actionable plans for improvement.
o Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align teams on improvement goals.
o Identify and lead projects to eliminate non-value added activities.
· Project Management:
o Support industrialization projects from concept through implementation.
o Coordinate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure successful execution.
o Track and report progress on layout changes and process improvements.
· Documentation & Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of layouts, time studies, and improvement initiatives.
o Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
o Creation and maintenance of Value Stream Maps.
