Maintenance

NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Maintenance employee for the landscaping and groundskeeping team at Mountain View Funeral Home, Memorial Park, and Crematory. Our team takes pride in maintaining our grounds with attention to detail and tradition, ensuring every family’s unique experience is honored. Responsibilities

• Mowing lawns and maintaining landscaped areas to the highest standards.
• Recognizing and adequately disposing of wilted or dead flowers while preserving healthy plants.
• Ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations regarding grave decorations and presentation.
• Performing general gardening tasks, including planting, weeding, trimming, and mulching as needed.
• Supporting seasonal landscaping needs, with overtime required leading up to Memorial Day.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education preferred
• 6+ months experience preferred
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
• A keen eye for detail, especially in identifying plant health and adhering to guidelines for grave decorations.
• Strong sense of responsibility and respect for the environment and families we serve.

Compensation

• $17-$18.50/hr. with opportunities for overtime during peak periods.
